FOR DEFENSE & GOVERNMENT FLEETS

Cyber Defense Built for the Networks Inside Your Vehicles

Beholder and Mind Flayer detect adversary activity on and around mission-critical vehicles. Both run onboard, both work without a network connection, and both were built by the people who spent decades attacking vehicles.

THE PROBLEM

Your vehicles are a target. Nothing is watching what happens inside them.

Attackers do not need physical access, and they do not need to leave a trace. Two attack surfaces sit almost entirely unmonitored on today’s fleets.

ATTACK SURFACE 01

The vehicle network

Modern vehicles run on the CAN bus, the internal network controlling everything from engine systems to navigation. That network was never built to be secure. Attackers know this. Until recently there has been no practical way to monitor it continuously.

ATTACK SURFACE 02

The RF spectrum

Every vehicle operates multiple wireless interfaces, and each one is an entry point. Adversaries can intercept communications, inject unauthorized commands, and reach vehicle systems over the air. Nothing in a conventional security stack is watching that spectrum.

Built by the people who spent decades attacking vehicles.

We know what to look for because we wrote the playbook.

BEHOLDER – VEHICLE CYBER DEFENSE

Detect the attack inside the vehicle

Beholder delivers vehicle-native cyber detection for mission-critical fleets. Connects directly to the CAN bus and flags adversary activity in real time. No network connection required.

1

Connects to the CAN bus

Installs directly into the vehicle with no external dependency. Beholder is operational the moment it is connected.

2

AI knows normal

Multiple models work together to learn normal CAN bus behavior for your vehicle’s make and model. Anything outside that gets flagged. No configuration required.

3

Threat detected

The moment an attack hits the bus, Beholder catches it. The on-device indicator gives an immediate, unambiguous alert. No connectivity required.

4

Your team acts

The operator responds in real time. Remote monitoring and incident response are available on connected models.

On-device alert display

Beholder’s built-in display gives operators an immediate, unambiguous read on vehicle status. No external system required. No connectivity required.

Vehicle Security Operations Center

When connected, Beholder feeds threat data to the Vehicle Security Operations Center. The VSOC gives operators a live view of every vehicle in the fleet, including location, status, and active alerts, on a single dashboard. Critical threats surface immediately.

MIND FLAYER – RF THREAT DETECTION

Detect the attack before it reaches the vehicle

Mind Flayer monitors the RF spectrum around your vehicle for attacks across Bluetooth, BLE, and Wi-Fi. Receive-only, with detection onboard in real time.

1

Installed on the vehicle

Mounts inside the vehicle. Monitors wireless activity across Bluetooth, BLE, and Wi-Fi bands. Receive-only.

2

Onboard AI analyzes the signal

Analyzes captured RF data as it arrives, identifies known attack signatures, and flags suspicious behavior automatically. No manual configuration required.

3

Threat classified and confirmed

Signals are cross-referenced against a library of known wireless attack patterns. Threats are classified by type and severity.

4

Alert delivered to your team

Alerts display on an in-cab display. On connected models, they also push to the Vehicle Security Operations Center.

Monitored wireless interfaces

Mind Flayer watches the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, where the vehicle’s data-carrying interfaces live. On connected models, alerts leave over cellular backhaul.

Wi-Fi 5 GHz Hotspot, OTA
CONNECTIVITY OPTIONS

Works on the network. Works off it.

Both products ship in standalone and connected configurations.

Standalone

Fully self-contained. Detection and on-device alerting run continuously with no external network connection required.

Connected

Alerts are delivered to the Vehicle Security Operations Center. If connectivity is lost, detections are stored onboard and transmitted the moment the link is restored.

GOVERNMENT CONFIDENCE

A track record with defense and government customers

Fleet Defender has delivered cyber defense technology to defense and government organizations, and both Beholder and Mind Flayer were developed in partnership with U.S. government agencies.
