The United States Space Force has been focused on cybersecurity for satellite and ground systems. Recently the Space Force held The Space Systems Command Hack-A-Sat event with cash prizes. The event was an open collaborative environment with the goal of improving the security and resilience of space systems. As companies rush to LEO to deploy satellites for data gathering or even worldwide internet they must ensure their ground and space cybersecurity systems are prepared for new and existing threats.
